New Notary

New-Notary workshops are for newly commissioned Notaries or Notaries who have had only state-required training or less. After completing these workshops, Notaries will have a better understanding of the five steps of notarization, best practices, liability protection, and common "no can do" scenarios that may arise when performing their duties.

Experienced Notaries

Experienced-Notary workshops are for the Notary with four years of experience or more and/or is a veteran of previous NNA Conferences. The workshops will include roundtable discussions with industry professionals (Notary administrators and other state officials, veteran Notaries, representatives of regional Notary associations) as well as workshops on difficult notarization situations and complicated documents.

Introductory-Level NSAs

Introductory-level Notary Signing Agent workshops are for new NSAs. These workshops focus on topics such as the loan-signing process from beginning to end; mock loan-signing demonstrations; essential skills for success as an NSA; roundtable discussions with industry professionals (county recorders, veteran signing agents, banking officials, representatives from signing services); and common "no can do" scenarios that may arise when performing signings.

Advanced-Level NSAs

Advanced-level Notary Signing Agent workshops are for Notaries who are looking to expand existing NSA skills and/or knowledge. These workshops focus on topics such as the loan-signing process from beginning to end; mock loan-signing demonstrations; essential skills for success as an NSA; roundtable discussions with industry professionals (county recorders, veteran signing agents, banking officials, representatives from signing services); and common "no can do" scenarios that may arise when performing signings.

Introductory-Level Notary Entrepreneurs

Introductory-level Notary Entrepreneur workshops are for Notaries who are starting their own business or are interested in starting a business. Topics will focus on aspects of business development, including: relationship-building and networking; advertising; tracking income, taxes, and collections; negotiation skills; marketing solutions to enhance your business; social media options; and public speaking.

Advanced-Level Notary Entrepreneurs

Advanced-level Notary Entrepreneur workshops are for Notaries who are looking to expand existing business skills and/or knowledge. Topics will focus on aspects of business development, including: relationship-building and networking; advertising; tracking income, taxes, and collections; negotiation skills; marketing solutions to enhance your business; social media options; and public speaking.

Notary Employers

Guided by supervisors’ needs, this program is for Notary employers (supervisors of Notaries in the workplace). Workshops focus on risk management, liability protection, and detailed training plans for employees.
